For the standardization organization GS1 Austria, I was allowed to visually implement an exciting explanatory video that explains the master data service GS1 Sync in a nutshell. The focus is on a clear, easy-to-understand presentation. The special thing about it: the video does not need any narrator text at all. With short key words and visual elements, it shows in 75 seconds how GS1 Sync works and what possibilities it offers - in a German and an English version.

We accompany a stylized apple juice from the apple harvest, through production to quality assurance and finally to sale or use in retail, gastronomy or digital platforms. The video illustrates the benefits of GS1 Sync step by step:

• ‍Recordingthe product data
  ‍At thebeginning, the apple juice is produced and its data, such as marketing information and legal details, are entered centrally into the GS1 Sync platform.
• ‍Quality assurance
  ‍Around200 attributes are closely scrutinizedhereto ensure that the data quality remains consistently high - an impressive 97%!
• ‍Benefitsfor retailers
  ‍Centralizeddata storage allows retailers to use this information for online stores, shelf planning and other purposes.

The video ends with a coherent conclusion in which the tested apple juice is shown as a finished product. The simple and charming animation conveys the central message: GS1 Sync simplifies and secures the entire data flow.

Implementing this project and working with the wonderful GS1 Austria team was a lot of fun. A super exciting topic that (even if many don't know it) shapes our everyday lives and contributes to the fact that many services and salesrooms can function as well as we are almost used to these days. I am pleased to have helped to make the great service of GS1 Austria visible.
